Tag/Day 0 auf dem Weg zur/on the way to MSC EURIBIA in Kopenhagen/Copenhagen, Denmark

Durch die Umbucherei im Mai 2024 auf die ROTTERDAM, waren meine ursprünglich geplante Reise im April 2024 von Zeebrugge nach Kiel auf der MSC EURIBIA zeitlich zu nahe zusammen. Da ich Fantastica gebucht hatte und eine Umbuchung frei hatte, wollte ich dann eben jetzt auf die MSC EURIBIA. Das mit der einmaligen kostenlosen Umbuchung stimmt nicht so ganz: 1. die Route Zeebrugge - Kiel wird nicht nochmals angeboten und 2. sie liegt auch nicht einer 3-Monats-Range. Also musste ich volle Stornokosten bezahlen. Meine Differenz von 18 EUR, die ich zuviel bezahlt habe, habe ich bislang von MSC noch nicht zurück. Aber ich schreibe ja sowieso der Zentrale in Genf, also kann ich es dann auch erwähnen. Es war zum Glück Fronleichnamswochenende in Hessen. So konnten wir spontan sogar bereits am Mittwoch anreisen und noch einen günstigen Flug bei SAS ergattern. Ich lebe seit mehr als 20 Jahren in Hessen, aber Hessische Tapas sehe ich erstmalig in der Lufthansa Panorama Lounge. Mit Interesse verfolge ich den Flug auf der SAS App: dort soll sie bereits gelandet sein: ich sehe nichts. Bruno hat seinen Flighttracker und sagt, dass sie noch nicht gelandet ist. Und kurz nach dem sie auf den Flighttracker gelandet ist, sehen wir sie auch an uns vorbei rollen: gar kein Flugzeug von SAS sondern ein Wet-Lease von Jettime. Die Abfertigung war schon ein Ärgernis: wir hatten SAS Plus gebucht, nach dem Bieten genauso teuer war, wie das Festpreis-Upgrade. Nur es gab einen einzigen Check-In-Schalter ohne Vorrang für SAS Plus Gäste und es gab drei Busse: den ersten haben sie vollgestopft und zwei andere folgten dann fast leer hinterher, mit dem Erfolg, dass eine Riesenschlange sich zum Einsteigen auf dem Vorfeld formte, weil auch nur eine Treppe zur Verfügung stand. Die bisher überschaubare Verspätung wurde daher immer größer.



Due to the rebooking in May 2024 on ROTTERDAM, my planned initial trip in April 2024 from Zeebrugge to Kiel on MSC EURIBIA was too close together. Since I had booked Fantastica and had a rebooking free, I wanted to board the MSC EURIBIA right now. The one-time free rebooking is not entirely valid: 1. the route Zeebrugge - Kiel will not be offered again, and 2. it is not in a 3-month range. So I had to pay total cancellation costs. MSC still needs to return my difference of EUR 18, which I overpaid. But I'm writing to the head office in Geneva, Switzerland, to mention it. Luckily it was the weekend of Corpus Christi in Hesse, Germany. We arrived spontaneously on Wednesday and got a cheap flight with SAS. I have lived in Hesse for over 20 years, but I see Hessian tapas in the Lufthansa Panorama Lounge for the first time. I'm following the flight on the SAS app with interest: it's said to have already landed there: but I don't see anything. Bruno has his flight tracker and says it has yet to land. And shortly after it has landed on the flight tracker, we also see it rolling past us: not a plane from SAS at all but a wet lease from Jettime. Handling was a nuisance: we had booked SAS Plus, after which bidding was just as expensive as the fixed-price upgrade. Only there was a single check-in counter with no priority for SAS Plus guests, and there were three buses: they stuffed the first one, and then two others followed almost empty, with the result that a huge line formed for boarding on the apron because only one flight of stairs was available. The previously manageable delay was therefore increasing.

I initially made the mistake of pre-ordering and paying for food when I originally booked SAS Go. I was no longer able to unsubscribe when I rebooked to SAS Plus. I had asked, and the "stupid" commented that I should enjoy both meals. I finally settled that I could take a late-night snack since I'm going out at night. But nothing came of it: our paid meal was not on board. But I got my refund very quickly. I didn't find it funny anyway, even though it was supposed to have been her way of solving my problem. Incidentally, with SAS, the middle seat in SAS Plus could be taken. But luckily, it wasn't that crowded. And otherwise, it was a pleasant flight with a beautiful sunset and delicious food. Coffee and tea are always free at SAS.



Ich hatte zunächst den Fehler gemacht, dass ich bereits Essen vorbestellt und bezahlt habe, als ich zunächst SAS Go gebucht habe. Das konnte ich dann nicht mehr abbestellen, als ich dann auf SAS Plus umgebucht habe. Ich hatte angefragt und es kam die "blöde" Bemerkung, dass ich einfach beide Mahlzeiten genießen soll. Letztendlich hatte ich mich damit abgefunden, dass ich wohl einen nächtlichen Snack mitnehmen kann, da ich ja nachts losziehe. Aber daraus wurde nichts: unser bezahltes Essen war nicht an Bord. Die Erstattung bekam ich aber sehr schnell wieder. Komisch fand ich es trotzdem nicht, auch wenn es ihre Art gewesen sein, sollte mein Problem zu lösen. Bei SAS bleibt übrigens der Mittelplatz in SAS Plus nicht frei. Aber zum Glück war es nicht so voll. Und ansonsten war es ein schöner Flug mit einem schönen Sonnenuntergang und leckerem Essen. Kaffee und Tee gibt es bei SAS immer kostenlos.

Am Flughafen erwartet mich bereits an jedem Monitor der Anblick von der MSC EURIBIA. Nach dem die ADAC Autovermietung bewiesen hatte, dass für die OOSTERDAM 2023-Reise Hertz den Fehler mit der Einwegmiete von Miami nach Fort Lauderdale in das System eingestellt hat, hatte ich ihnen verziehen und wieder bei denen gebucht. Dieses Mal bei Sixt. Sie schließen allerdings um 23:00 Uhr und wir sind um 22:45 Uhr gelandet. Es steht auf der Homepage von Sixt keine Telefonnummer, wie man Sixt am Flughafen erreichen kann, obwohl sie noch geöffnet haben. Ihr CallCenter geht nicht mehr ans Telefon und die Weiterleitung an die Pannenhilfe, weißt auch nicht, wie man Sixt am Flughafen Kopenhagen erreicht. Man soll beim CallCenter in München anrufen. Aber das geht nur, wenn man sich seine 10-stellige Reservierungsnummer auch merken kann und sie in die Tastatur eingeben kann. Erst dann wird man mit einem unkompetenten Nicht-Service-Mitarbeiter verbunden, der einen versucht zu überreden, dass man einfach sein Fahrzeug am nächsten Morgen abholen soll. Und wenn man ihn etwas "lauter und bestimmter überzeugt", dann bietet er auf einmal an, dass er an die Station weiterverbinden kann. Und er verbindet einen ins Nirvana: eine Computerstimme, die mitteilt, dass man noch nicht alle Service anbietet, wie vor der Pandemie. Ich suche die Haltestelle des flughafeninternen Shuttles und erreiche um 23:07 Uhr Sixt, während Bruno auf unser Gepäck wartet. Hier macht man hier den Vorwurf, dass ich sie nicht kontaktiert hätte, dass ich später komme und auch nicht auf deren E-Mails reagiert, sonst hätten sie mir den Wagen ans Terminal gebracht, und die Mietzeit hätte vor 23:00 Uhr begonnen und ich wäre den 300 DKK Spätzuschlag entgangen, die jetzt aufgeschlagen werden. Ich frage nach, wann sie mich kontaktiert hätten. Sie sagen, dass sie versucht hätten, meine Kreditkartendaten abzufragen, um den Vertrag fertig zu machen und ich hätte nicht geantwortet. Als ich erkläre, dass ich schon alles über den ADAC bezahlt habe, sagen sie mir, dass ich alles vergessen soll, was sie bislang gesagt haben. Ich habe mich darüber geärgert und den Wagen dann im Zentrum abgegeben: das Büro vom Flughafen wollte ich nicht wiedersehen. Außerdem habe ich keine Lust nochmals rauszufahren. Nach dem ich dann noch Sixt eine etwas unfreundliche Mail geschrieben habe, gab es dann großzügig etwa 2 EUR als Rabatt zurück. (Nachtrag: Briefe sind besser als E-Mails. Die 300 DKK gab es zurück!)



At the airport, the sight of the MSC EURIBIA awaits me on every monitor. After ADAC car rental (like AAA) had proven that Hertz had put a mistake in the system with the one-way rental from Miami to Fort Lauderdale for the OOSTERDAM 2023 trip, I forgave them and booked with them again. This time at Sixt. However, they closed at 23:00 hrs, and we landed at 22:45 hrs. There is no phone number on the Sixt website for contacting Sixt at the airport, although they are still open. Your call center no longer answers the phone and forwards to roadside assistance; I also need to learn how to reach Sixt at Copenhagen Airport. You should call the call center in Munich. But that only works if you can remember your 10-digit reservation number and enter it on the keyboard. Only then are you sent to an incompetent non-service agent who tries to persuade you to pick up your vehicle the following day. And if you "convince him a little louder and more definitely," he'll suddenly offer to put you through to the station. And it connects you to Nirvana: a computer voice that announces that you don't yet provide all the services you did before the pandemic. I await the airport shuttle stop and reach Sixt at 23:07 hrs while Bruno waits for our luggage. The accusation is that I didn't contact them, was late, and didn't respond to their emails either. Otherwise, they would have brought the car to the terminal, the rental period would have started before 23:00 hrs, and I would have escaped the 300 DKK late surcharge now being added. I asked when they contacted me. They said they tried to get my credit card details to finalize the contract, and I didn't answer. When I explain that I've already paid for everything through ADAC, they tell me to forget everything they've said. I was annoyed about it and then returned the car to the city center: I didn't want to see the airport office again. Besides, I don't want to go out again. After I wrote a somewhat unfriendly email to Sixt, they generously gave me back about 2 EUR as a discount. (Addendum: Letters are better than emails. The 300 DKK was returned!)

Hotel rooms in Copenhagen were priceless. So I was glad I had enough points in my IHG One Rewards account to pay for two nights' accommodation at Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers. It was very convenient: under the hotel, there is a parking garage for which hotel guests pay a maximum of 150 DKK per 24 hours. The hotel is next to an Ørestad commuter train and metro station: you can quickly get to the central station, the airport, the city center, and the cruise terminal with a transfer. At the reception, I experience a super-friendly employee: Babak. Rarely have I been welcomed in such a friendly manner. He explained everything we needed to know about parking, club use, breakfast, and that, unfortunately, there was no upgrade for me because I wanted two single beds. Next time I'll leave Bruno at home, or he'll sleep in the bath!



Die Hotelzimmer in Kopenhagen waren unbezahlbar. So war ich froh, dass ich genügend Punkte auf meinem IHG One Rewards Konto hatte, um zwei Übernachtungen damit im Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers zu bezahlen. Es war sehr praktisch: unter dem Hotel gibt es ein Parkhaus für das man als Hotelgast max. 150 DKK pro 24 Stunden bezahlt. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben einer S-Bahn- und U-Bahn-Station Ørestad: man kommt von hier sehr gut zum Hauptbahnhof, zum Flughafen, in die Innenstadt, und mit Umstieg auch zum Kreuzfahrtterminal. Am Empfang erlebe ich einen superfreundlichen Mitarbeiter: Babak. So freundlich bin ich bislang selten willkommen geheißen worden. Er erklärt uns alles notwendige zum Thema Parken, Club Nutzung, Frühstück und dass es leider kein Upgrade für mich gibt, weil ich zwei Einzelbetten wollte. Das nächste Mal lasse ich Bruno zu Hause oder er schläft in der Badewanne!

Das Zimmer war doch sehr schön.



The room was very friendly, though.

I got up at 02:30 hrs and drove to Helsingør, Denmark. It was already very light. So I drive to the North Harbor and stand by Kronborg Castle while the moon goes down.



Um 02:30 Uhr bin ich dann aufgestanden und nach Helsingør gefahren. Es war schon sehr hell. So fahre ich zum Nordhafen und stehe direkt am Schloss Kronborg, während der Mond untergeht.

Es gibt ja eine Sache, die ich in Kopenhagen als Shipspotter hasse: die Schiffe können vom Süden als auch vom Norden kommen. Es gibt für Shipspotter keinen Platz, an dem man beide Schiffe aus beiden Richtungen einlaufen sehen kann. Ein Schiff befindet sich nicht auf dem Weg nach Kopenhagen, sondern Malmö: MARINA. Später erfahre: ein Freund aus St-Louis, Frankreich, winkt mir nicht zurück und schläft lieber.



One thing I hate about Copenhagen as Shipspotter: the ships can come from the south and the north. There is nowhere for ship spotters to see both ships coming in from both directions. A ship is not going to Copenhagen, Denmark, but to Malmö, Sweden: MARINA. Find out later: a friend from St-Louis, France, doesn't wave me back and prefers to sleep.

And another ship where a friend would rather sleep than wave at me. It passes NIEUW STATENDAM Helsingør. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to get a better picture of them later at the Cruise Terminal.



Und noch ein Schiff, auf dem ein Freund lieber schläft, als mir zuzuwinken. Es passiert die NIEUW STATENDAM Helsingør. Leider habe ich keine Gelegenheit sie später am Cruise Terminal noch besser vor die Linse zu bekommen.

Und nach einer weiteren Stunde kommt die MSC EURIBIA. Und später am Cruise Terminal. Ich hatte später sehr viel Glück: Casper und Jimmy fahren für mich sehr nah an der MSC EURIBIA vorbei. Ich freue mich, dass ich so fantastische Fotos bekomme, da ich keine Chance hatte, landseitig am Cruise Terminals gute Fotos zu schießen. Ich werde weiter unten noch näher auf Casper und Jimmy eingehen.



And after another hour, MSC EURIBIA arrives. And later at the Cruise Terminal. I was fortunate later: Casper and Jimmy passed MSC EURIBIA very closely for me. I'm happy to get such fantastic photos as I didn't have the opportunity to take good images landside at the Cruise Terminal. I'll talk more about Casper and Jimmy below.

When I arrive at North Port, everything at Terminal 3 is cordoned off. You usually still get to the end of the turning area. But I can't get further on foot either: I'm turned away.



Als ich am Nordhafen ankomme, ist alles am Terminal 3 abgesperrt. Normalerweise kommt man noch bis zum Ende zum Wendeplatz. Aber auch zu Fuß komme ich nicht weiter: ich werde abgewiesen.

A great breakfast buffet awaits me back at the hotel. And the amiable staff: someone always comes by and asks if everything is ok. We feel very comfortable here. There is even Leverpostej.



Ein tolles Frühstücksbüffet erwartet mich zurück im Hotel. Und sehr freundliches Personal: es kommt immer jemand vorbei, und fragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir fühlen uns hier sehr wohl. Es gibt sogar Leverpostej.

Fette dänische Leberpastetete, die man nur am Tag "überlebt", wenn man einen Gammel Dansk dazu trinkt. Aber den gibt es leider am Büffet nicht. Ich habe von dänischen Freunden gelernt: Die "Entschuldigung", dass man morgens zum Frühstück schon Alkohol trinken darf.



Fat Danish liver pâté that you can only "survive" during the day if you drink a Gammel Dansk with it. Unfortunately, that is not available at the buffet. I learned from Danish friends: The "excuse" that you can have alcohol at breakfast in the morning.



Bis Helsingør schaffen wir es nicht mehr ganz, sondern nur noch bis Snekkersten. An dieser Stelle ist es nicht mehr die engste Stelle zwischen Dänemark und Schweden und durch die Wärme ist es diesig über dem Wasser: daher sind die leider die Bilder von hier von der CELEBRITY SILHOUETTE nicht so schön, aber später gibt es nochmals schöne in Kopenhagen.



We can't quite make it to Helsingør, but only to Snekkersten. At this point, it is no longer the narrowest point between Denmark and Sweden, and due to the heat, it is hazy over the water. Unfortunately, the pictures from here of the CELEBRITY SILHOUETTE are not so nice, but later there are more nice ones in Copenhagen.

During the QUEEN VICTORIA 2022 trip, I learned that a good friend had passed away. Her family lives here in Snekkersten, but as we don't have much time, we must postpone a visit to another time when we have more time.

Aber wir denken gerne zurück an unser Essen vor der NORWEGIAN SUN 2012 mit unseren Freunden aus Kalifornien.

Or again in Tivoli Amusement Park when we were in Copenhagen with NORWEGIAN GETAWAY 2017. We knew each other from my student days when I worked at KaDeWe Department Store in Berlin, Germany, and she painted Royal Copenhagen porcelain there.



Oder nochmals im Tivoli als wir mit der NORWEGIAN GETAWAY 2017 in Kopenhagen waren. Wir kannten uns aus meiner Studienzeit, als ich im KaDeWe gearbeitet hat und sie dort vor Ort Porzellan von Royal Copenhagen bemalt hat.

Es ist so schnell so heiß, dass wir etwas trinken müssen. Wir kehren bei Café Vitus ein.

Wir fahren weiter nach Rungsted Kyst zum Karen Blixen Museum ("Jenseits von Afrika"). Leider wird im Moment hier renoviert. Wir waren hier ja noch vor unserer NORWEGIAN SUN 2012-Reise.



We continue to Rungsted Kyst to the Karen Blixen Museum ("Out of Africa"). Unfortunately, renovations are going on here at the moment. We were here before our NORWEGIAN SUN 2012 trip.









It's nice and warm, and our table still needs to be prepared because there's still a group of visitors in the restaurant (Madame Carlsen's Café), so we walk through the garden for a few more minutes.



Es ist schön warm und unser Tisch ist noch nicht hergerichtet, da noch eine Besuchergruppe im Restaurant (Madame Carlsens Café) sitzt, also laufen wir noch ein paar Minuten durch den Garten.

Danach gehen wir wieder ins Gebäude, um dort zu essen. Alles handgemacht und alles Bio: wir bestellen uns eine Auswahl von Smørrebrød und teilen uns alles. Das Brot an sich besteht mehr aus Nüssen und ist richtig lecker. Aber so Kartoffelscheiben als Brotbelag ist doch etwas ungewöhnlich für uns.



After that, we go back into the building to eat there. All handmade and all organic: we order a selection of smørrebrød and share everything. The bread itself consists more of nuts and is tasty. But such potato slices as a topping are a bit unusual for us.









After dropping off our car at Sixt, we take the bus 26 to Nyhavn. As usual, we buy tickets for Copenhagen via the DOT Billeter app. Here we get a 24-hour card for 80 DKK (2023) because we still have to go to the cruise terminal the following day.



Nach dem wir unser Auto bei Sixt abgegeben haben, fahren wir mit dem Bus 26 nach Nyhavn. Wir kaufen wie üblich die Fahrkarten für Kopenhagen über die DOT Billeter App. Hier holen wir uns eine 24-Stunden-Karte für 80 DKK (2023), weil wir ja am folgenden Tag noch zum Cruise Terminal müssen.

Die Fahrkarte gelten auch für den "Hafenbus": die Fährlinien 991/992 auf Wasser.

The 992 goes to Orientkaj. I'll take a closer look at it tomorrow. I'm looking for the timetable in the opposite direction. Later I find out: 992 is the ferry to Orientkaj heading North, and 991 is the ferry from Orientkaj heading South.



Die 992 fährt zum Orientkaj. Ich beschließe, dass ich mir das morgen mal genauer ansehe. Ich suche den Fahrplan für die Gegenrichtung. Später finde ich heraus: Als 992 wird die Fähre zum Orientkaj Richtung Norden bezeichnet und als 991 die Fähre vom Orientkaj Richtung Süden.



Our ferry has yet to arrive. So we still have time to look around Nyhavn before and after our return. It's nice here, but way too crowded. I wouldn't say I like the canal trips from Nyhavn at all. I prefer to leave around the corner (Ved Stranden) with Stromma as I did for the EURODAM 2009 trip. It's pretty open there. Street musicians are also becoming more and more modern! You can also send money to them by mobile.



Unsere Fähre ist noch nicht da. Also haben wir noch Zeit vorher und auch nach der Rückkehr uns im Nyhavn umzusehen. Ich finde es schön hier, aber viel zu voll. Die Kanalfahrten ab Nyhavn mag ich überhaupt nicht. Ich fahre lieber um die Ecke ab (Ved Stranden) mit Stromma ab, wie damals zur EURODAM 2009 Reise. Dort ist es nicht so voll. Die Straßenmusikanten werden auch immer moderner! Man kann auch mobil denen Geld zukommen zu lassen.

Wir sind mit Spar Shipping unterwegs, die Kopenhagen mit den vorgelagerten Inseln Ungdomsøen und FlagFortet verbinden. Auf der Jugendinsel Ungdomsøen bestünde die Möglichkeit, auch im Rahmen als Selbstversorger zu übernachten. Das wäre perfekt für mich als Shipspotter, aber leider nichts für mich. Aber Lebensmittel mitnehmen und selbst kochen? Wir hatten total "Glück". Ein Getriebeschaden sorgt für eine verspätete Abfahrt. Wir sind die einzigen zwei Gäste für FlagFortet und so fahren wir den direkten Weg. Weil wir sehr verständnisvoll reagieren und nicht "nerven", weil wir in Urlaubsstimmung sind, kommen wir mit Casper und Jimmy ins Gespräch. Ein paar Brocken Dänisch kann ich noch, weil ich es vor vielen Jahren in Berlin gelernt habe und daher weiß, wie man sich auf Dänisch nett bedankt. Da wir heute auf der letzten Runde zurück dabei sind und auch keine Gäste auf Ungdomsøen eingesammelt werden müssen, verspricht mit Casper, dass wir schön langsam auf der Rückfahrt an der MSC EURIBIA und CELEBRITY SILHOUETTE vorbeifahren, damit ich schön fotografieren kann. Außerdem arbeite ich auch in der Schifffahrt. Dafür spendiere ich denen auch gerne zwei Feierabendbiere. Die Fahrt nach FlagFortet führt uns sehr nahe an der königlichen Yacht DANNEBROG vorbei. Wir müssen verlangsamen, weil ein Wasserflugzeug von Nordic Seaplanes aus Aarhus hier landet. Sie bieten auch Rundflüge an. Ich muss mir das mal für das nächste Mal überlegen.



We operate Spar Shipping, connecting Copenhagen with the offshore islands of Ungdomsøen and FlagFortet. On the youth island Ungdomsøen, there would be the possibility to stay overnight as self-catering. That would be perfect for me as a shipspotter, but unfortunately, not for me. But take food with you and cook it yourself? We were totally "lucky". A gearbox failure caused a delayed departure. We are the only two guests for FlagFortet, so we take the direct route. Because we react very understandingly and don't "annoy" us because we're in the holiday mood, we converse with Casper and Jimmy. I still know a few scraps of Danish because I learned it many years ago in Berlin and therefore know how to say thank you in Danish. Since we are back on the last lap today and no guests have to be picked up on Ungdomsøen either, Casper promises that we will drive slowly past the MSC EURIBIA and CELEBRITY SILHOUETTE on the return trip so that I can take lovely photos. I also work in shipping. I'd be happy to give them two after-work beers for that. The drive to FlagFortet takes us very close to the royal yacht DANNEBROG. We must slow down because a Nordic Seaplanes flight from Aarhus is landing here. They also offer sightseeing flights. I'll have to think about that next time.

We arrive at FlankFortet. It's a small island. Mainly conference groups come here, so they can stay put and can play scavenger hunts for adults. However, I'm so tired that I can't bring myself to walk around again and later sit and doze in the sun.



Wir kommen in FlankFortet an. Es ist eine kleine Insel. Hauptsächlich kommen hier Tagungsgruppen, die dann nicht abhauen können und sie können eben Schnitzeljagd für Erwachsene spielen. Ich bin jedoch so müde, dass ich mich nicht dazu aufraffen kann, nochmals hier herumzulaufen und döse später einfach sitzend in der Sonne.







There is at least one restaurant. At first, we were alone, but later a whole conference group came in, and we left later. Very lovely: there are pure happy family holidays in Denmark! There is Stjerneskud. This is the Danish warm and cold fish dish served as a family platter on all ferries between Denmark and Sweden before the Øresund Bridge existed. Back then, people drove back and forth all the time to eat the delicious platters together on the ferries. There is Danish soft ice cream for dessert — a real journey through time. However, we were lucky: a week earlier, we were at the State Festival Hessentag 2023 in Pfungstadt, Germany, and had already visited a Danish soft ice cream stand. But double is better. Who knows when we'll get this next time?



Es gibt zumindest ein Restaurant. Anfangs waren wir alleine, aber später kommt eine ganze Tagungsgruppe hinein und wir gehen daher später hinaus. Sehr schön: es gibt glücklicher Familienurlaub in Dänemark pur! Es gibt Stjerneskud. Das ist der dänische warm-kalte Fischteller, den es als Familienplatten auf allen Fähren zwischen Dänemark und Schweden gab, bevor es die Øresundbrücke gab. Man ist damals ständig hin- und hergefahren, um eben auf den Fähren die leckeren Platten gemeinschaftlich zu essen. Als Nachtich gibt es dänisches Softeis. Eine echte Zeitreise. Allerdings hatten wir Glück: wir waren eine Woche zuvor auf dem Hessentag 2023 in Pfungstadt und da hatten wir bereits einen dänischen Softeisstand besucht. Aber doppelt hält besser. Wer weiß, wann wir das nächste Mal das bekommen.

Nach dem die Kreuzfahrtschiffe im Kasten sind, können wir uns auch den Attraktionen von Kopenhagen widmen. Jimmy bietet mir ein Bild von Nyhavn an. Wir fahren an Maersk vorbei. Unser "Konkurrent" (sie haben zehn Mal soviele Schiffe wie wir...). Aber ich war ja im letzten Monat auf einer Messe in München und musste mich neben ihrem Pride-Container abbilden. Den gibt es von uns noch nicht.



After the cruise ships are in the camera, we can also devote ourselves to the attractions of Copenhagen. Jimmy offers me a picture of Nyhavn. We sailed past Maersk — our "competitor" (they have ten times as many ships as we do...). But I was at a trade show in Munich, Germany, last month and had to pose next to their Pride container. We have yet to get that.

We walk quickly to Kongens Nytorv. The construction site is finally gone now that Metro 3 and 4 are finished. We walk across this platform and can already orientate ourselves for tomorrow. So signposted to the cruise terminal with Orientkaj and the central station with Københavns H - H stands for Hovedbanegård. But we quickly move on to Metro 1 and 2, which go back to the hotel (M1 Vestamager) and the airport (M2 Københavns Lufthavn), respectively. I am fatigued. I can't bring myself to go in again if CLIO arrives later in the evening.



Wir laufen schnell zum Kongens Nytorv. Dort ist endlich die Baustelle weg, nach dem jetzt die U-Bahnen 3 und 4 fertig sind. Wir laufen über diesen Bahnsteig und können uns schon mal für morgen orientieren. Also zum Kreuzfahrtterminal mit Orientkaj beschildert und zum Hauptbahnhof mit Københavns H - H steht für Hovedbanegård. Aber wir gehen schnell zur U-Bahn 1 und 2 weiter, die zurück zum Hotel (M1 Vestamager) bzw. zum Flughafen (M2 Københavns Lufthavn) fahren. Ich bin hundemüde. Ich kann mich nicht dazu aufraffen nochmals reinzufahren, wenn die CLIO später am Abend noch einläuft.
