Das Schiff ist sexy! Mir gefällt das Schiff nachts. Vielen Vögeln auch, da wir sehr landnah fahren. Allerdings gibt es auch Schmuddelecken, weil sich Raucher nicht zurückhalten können. Ich gehe auf Deck 12 und stelle fest, dass es hier auch den "großen Wäschetrockner" gibt, wie damals auf der MSC FANTASIA 2009. Wir werden wohl das nächste Mal eine Wäschespinne mitbringen, falls Bruno wieder Wäsche waschen will.
The ship is sexy! I like the ship at night. Lots of birds too, as we drive very close to land. However, there are also dirty corners because smokers cannot hold back. I go to deck 12 and notice that there is also the "large tumble dryer" here like it was on the MSC FANTASIA 2009. We will probably bring a rotary clothes dryer next time if Bruno wants to do laundry again.The ship is beautiful inside too. It is very much decorated for Halloween. However, there are no Swarovski stairs here, and I always thought all MSC ships had that. Much is also completed, and I don't know that from American ships. I can usually go in there at night and take photos. There are small credit card readers available for registration and ATM-like devices for cash payers.
Auch innen ist das Schiff schön. Es ist sehr viel für Halloween dekoriert. Allerdings gibt es hier keine Swarovski-Treppen. Ich dachte immer, dass es das auf jedem Schiff gibt. Vieles ist auch abgeschlossen. Das kenne ich so von amerikanischen Schiffen nicht so. Dort kann ich nachts normalerweise immer rein und fotografieren. Es stehen nicht nur kleine Kreditkartenleser für die Registrierung bereit, sondern auch wieder die Geldautomaten-ähnlichen Geräte für Barzahler.Ich sehe mich in unserer Sammelstation um: L'Ametista. Nun kann ich aber ohne Seenotrettungsübung fotografieren. Sehr schön ist die Tiger Bar, allerdings ist es dort immer viel zu kalt, so dass wir hier uns nie aufhalten. Sie haben sich wegen Halloween sehr viel Mühe gemacht.

Aber im Gegensatz zu den Tupperfrauen auf der COSTA FAVOLOSA 2017 fallen die Teilnehmer nicht ganz so auf, weil wahrscheinlich das Schiff eh nicht so voll ist.Die MSC MAGNIFICA war ja ursprünglich für den Einsatz in Saudi-Arabien vorgesehen, aber nun fährt sie stattdessen die Metropolen-Runde in der Nordsee. Ich erinnere mich noch an unsere Reise auf der MSC MUSICA 2007. Damals haben wir ja in Tripolis, Libyen angelegt. Und damals musste alles, was nicht ins moslemische Weltbild passte, entsprechend "verschwinden". Hier im Casino hätten sie einiges zu tun.

Sehr gut hat mir der Fotoverkauf gefallen, so lange er geschlossen war! Die Abdeckung der Fotos war sehr schön gestaltet: historische Sportfotos. Das Angebot an USB-Sticks fand ich ebenfalls sehr witzig. Nur die Fotografen selbst waren leider nicht so nett: sie haben sich geweigert ein Gruppenbild am Tisch zu machen. Sie wollten nur Paar- und Einzelporträtaufnahmen machen und uns zum Besuch der Fotostudios zwingen. Sehr gut war die Erläuterung, wie man sich das Internet an seinem Smartphone einrichtet.Leider finde ich im Logo-Store kein T wie AITA (siehe AIDAluna 2021)... Ich kann nur DoReMi haben.

Unsere Perle: Neruda. Unser Diamond-Status wird entsprechend gewürdigt. Etwas nervig ist es, dass man sich ständig wieder neu anmelden muss, auch wenn man nur das Angebot des Kabinenservices ansehen möchte. Ich probiere mal Brunos Brille aus. Zum Glück habe ich eine eigene Box mit Kosmetiktüchern mit. Mir sagte man später, dass man das auf Anfrage bekommt. Bei dem Bild mit Bruno sieht man sehr gut, wie viel Platz man eigentlich hier in einer Bella-Balkonkabine hat. Our pearl: Neruda. Our diamond status is recognized accordingly. Ein Oberkellner bemerkt, dass etwas nicht stimmt und nimmt sich unseren Wünschen an. Während er uns bedient, meint er auf einmal, dass er mich kennen würde: von der MSC SEAVIEW. Das kann aber kaum sein, weil wir nur eine Nacht im Yacht Club auf der MSC SEAVIEW 2018 waren. Seinen Stil erkenne ich aber sofort: es ist unser Kellner von der MSC FANTASIA 2009: Agus Hermawan. Die Welt ist klein. Er ist derjenige, von dem wir die Sitte mit der Schlagsahne auf der Nase zum Geburtstag kennengelernt haben. Alles wird gut.
Our table is at L'Edera: we have been assigned a lovely 8-seat table. It is not available for breakfast. I wanted to thank Assistant Maître D 'Lauro Buonocore for the outstanding performance last night. The service is a bit slow. A head waiter notices that something is wrong and takes care of our requests. While serving us, he suddenly says that he would know me: from MSC SEAVIEW. But that can hardly be because we only stayed one night in the Yacht Club on MSC SEAVIEW 2018. But I recognize his style straight away: it's our waiter from MSC FANTASIA 2009: Agus Hermawan. The world is small. He's the one from whom we got to know the custom of having whipped cream on for a birthday. Everything will be fine.We appreciate at MSC: there are barista machines everywhere in the bars.

Wir gehen mittags ins L'Oasi SB-Restaurant essen. Es war in Ordnung. Der Kapitän hat hier auch zu Mittag gegessen. Ich wollte ihn nicht direkt ansprechen und frage, einen Maître D' der sich exklusiv um ihn kümmert, ob er ansprechbar ist. Er sagt mir allerdings, dass der Kapitän in Ruhe gelassen werden möchte. Dann ist dem halt so. We go to the L'Oasi self-service restaurant for lunch. It was ok. The captain had lunch here too. I didn't want to speak to him directly and ask a Maître D 'who exclusively looks after him whether he is accessible. However, he tells me that the captain wants to be left alone. We only had terrible luck on the open deck at the aft.The service refused to serve here (Revenue !!! No beverage packages!!!), and they did not want to give us a tray at the counter. You should get yourself a tray from somewhere else.
Der Service hatte sich geweigert hier zu bedienen (Umsatz !!! Keine Getränkepakete!!!) und an der Theke wollte man uns kein Tablett mitgeben. Man sollte sich selbst ein Tablett von woanders her besorgen.Das war aber so ziemlich das einzige negative Erlebnis, das wir hatten.

He is happy when I show him that I still have the pictures. We are pleasantly surprised again at the Mediterranean dinner: I admit: I would not have expected it to be so good in the main restaurant! A great selection, and it tastes delicious. Today they don't overdo it with the bread either. We experience fabulous service with Cumla, Dewi, and Mustofa. We are already sorry that we won't eat here tomorrow.
Ich habe am Nachmittag die Bilder von damals auf der MSC FANTASIA 2009 mit Agus gesucht. Er freut sich, als ich sie ihm zeige, dass ich die Bilder immer noch habe. Beim Mediterranen Abendessen werden wir wieder positiv überrascht: ich gebe zu: so gut hätte ich es im Hauptrestaurant nicht erwartet! Eine tolle Auswahl. Es schmeckt sehr lecker. Heute übertreiben sie auch nicht mit dem Brot. Einen tollen Service erleben wir mit Cumla, Dewi und Mustofa. So bedauern wir schon jetzt, dass wir morgen gar nicht hier essen.Wir gehen nochmals zu einem Drink in die Sportbar L'Olimpiade. Wir werden auch hier positiv überrascht. Man serviert uns wieder ein "Abendessen". Das haben wir ja schon ewig nicht mehr erlebt: die Antipastiauswahl kam so überraschend, dass wir es nicht schaffen es aufzuessen. Für den nächsten Tag bestellen wir einen Teller für drei. Zusätzlich bekommen wir noch Nüsse und noch ein anderen Snack.
