Ein guter Ferienstart steht bevor... Grr...
Mal gucken, ob wir in der Lage sind morgen thorsten13 und seinen Freund Bodo in Mannheim zum Silvesterdinner zu treffen.
Die Leitung von cruisecritic.com ist ebenfalls an Bord. So habe ich das englischsprachige Treffen auch noch in die Wege geleitet. Vielleicht kommen wir im Rahmen des Kabinenrundlaufes auch mal in den Yacht Club. Vor allem DTL aus dem cruisecritic.com-Forum interessiert mich: Vielleicht hat er ja alle kroatischen Spezialitäten mit, die ich mal mit ihm durchdiskutiert habe. Wir haben auf jeden Fall wieder genügend Mon-Cheris mit, damit das Meeting lustig starten kann.
e-man, der vor zwei Jahren kurz vor uns auf der MSC MUSICA 2007 unterwegs war ("Meine Frau hatte wie immer den Fisch und der war gut!"), ist auch dieses Mal vor uns unterwegs. Über ihn informieren wir uns daher auf seiner Homepage über aktuelle Ereignisse auf der MSC FANTASIA.
wyngyld schickt mir ebenfalls per SMS aktuelle Lageberichte von der MSC FANTASIA, die hier gepostet werden. Und das ist gut so, weil ich dann man zwischendurch fragen kann, was ich noch alles wissen will und was für mich noch alles organsiert werden muss.
Auf jeden Fall werden wir wohl unsere Sommerbetten mit Bettwäsche mitnehmen: Ich hasse die US-Sandwich-Wolldecken. Und da wir ja mit dem Auto unterwegs sind, sollte dieses kein Problem darstellen.
Nachdem sich MSC München geweigert hat: Einen Platz für mein Auto vom 04.-05.01.2009 (pre-cruise) hat mein Hotel Galles auch bestellt. Und ich bin beruhigt: Trudi (und Rudi) sind auf der MSC POESIA unterwegs und haben hier berichtet, dass das Hotel akzeptabel ist. Was immer das auch heißen mag: Sie fühlten sich vor zwei Jahren auf der MSC MUSICA 2007 wohl und wir uns auch. Und das Hotel hat mir ein Zimmer mit Ausblick auf die Stazione Marittime nochmals bestätigt.
Genua meldet im wetter-online-Trend für den 04.01.2009: 6-9 °C, bewölkt. Mir ist es hier und jetzt zu kalt! Holt mich hier raus!!!
Ach ja: Unsere Taxitour in Malaga wurde auch bestätigt. Kostet zwar 125 EUR (2008: 90 EUR - das nennt man Inflation...) für uns beide, aber irgendwie denken wir noch, dass wir unsere zwei Restplätze an Bord an nettte Mitreisende "vermarkten" können. Haben wir ja auf der COSTA CLASSICA 2007 auch geschafft.

Let's see if we can meet our friends from the German NCL-Fan-Forum thorsten13 and his friend Bodo in Mannheim for New Year's Eve's dinner.
The Editor from cruisecritic.com is also onboard. So initiated another English-speaking meeting. Maybe we have a chance to see the Yacht Club during a cabin tour. I am very much interested in meeting DTL: perhaps he has all the Croatian specialty with him, which I discussed in the forum. We will have enough MonCheris with us to have a lot of fun during our meeting.
e-man (from a German forum) who was on MSC MUSICA 2007 just ahead of us ("My wife had fish as always, and it was good!"), is again ahead of us. On his homepage we can keep us informed about all incidents onboard.
wyngyld (from a German forum) sends me by text messages original reports from MSC FANTASIA as well, which are posted here. And that's great because I can ask in between what I need to know or organized.
We will have our Summer Duvets incl. linings with us: I hate the US-Style Sandwich-wool-blankets. As we are traveling by car, this should not be a significant problem.
As MSC Munich refused to act: A parking for my car for my pre-cruise night from January 4-5, 2009 was reserved by my Hotel Galles. And I am relaxed: Trudi (and Rudi from a German Forum), who were two years ago on MSC MUSICA 2007 ahead of us on board, reported here that the hotel is acceptable. Whatever it means: they felt comfortable two years ago on MSC MUSICA 2007 - so did we. And the hotel confirmed a room facing the cruise terminal Stazione Marittime again.
Genoa reports as weather-online-trend for January 4, 2009: 43-48 F, cloudy. It's now and here too cold! Get me out of here!!!
Finally: Our Taxitour in Malaga was confirmed as well. Only 125 EUR (2008: 90 EUR - that's inflation...) for both of us but we are optimistic to "sell" the left two seats to nice cruise-fellows. We did it already successfully on COSTA CLASSICA 2007.
